MOO Snapshots

The following photos show the Virginia Tech Web Pals at our first MOO, an acronym that loosely translates to "a real time, online chat." During this MOO, the VT pals discussed novels about futuristic societies with their Blacksburg Middle School and Farmwell Station Middle School WebPals. As you can see from the photos,
the MOO requires a concentrated effort not to miss important parts of the discussion. It also results in humorous as well as profound moments. In the weeks following the MOO, the pals will re-visit their conversations as they analyze the transcripts.
